| GREY SEAL is set up as the ideal family boat for a day or weekend outing on Penobscot Bay. She was built by the famous Rich Brothers yard on Mt. Desert Island as a an estate service boat. The boat is constructed heavily of mahoghany planking on oak frames and all bronze fastened. She features a large cockpit seating area, a protected wheel house and teak decks. | |
| GREY SEAL's powerful Chrysler engine pushes her along at 10-11 knots and she is seaworthy in all weathers. This is no outboard runabout - but a heavily built and capable Maine vessel - just the thing to take your family for a day's picnic on one of Penobscot Bay's beautiful Islands or a leisurely and comfortable afternoon on the water. The boat is easily handled and boasts a complete navigation system including Radar, GPS Chartplotter, VHF Radio, and Depth Finder. All of the amenities are abord right down to a picnic cooler, a dinghy and an outboard for roaming ashore. Naturally she carries full safety equipment. | |
