Buck’s Harbor Marine has 26 rental moorings available in one of the most protected and beautiful harbors in Maine. All moorings meet U.S. Army Corps of Engineers specifications. We accept and honor advance reservations by radio (VHF 9, 10). The marina office will make mooring assignments based upon length of boat and will help direct you to your mooring. Daily mooring rental includes use of all shoreside facilities including dinghy tie-up, hot showers (both indoor and outdoor), heads, a coin-operated laundry, garbage drop-off and water. Our rental moorings tend to be fully booked each night starting in mid-July through August, so it pays to radio or cell phone call ahead. |

SEASONAL MARINA SERVICE Many boats choose to use Buck’s Harbor Marine as their base during the sailing season. Our seasonal guests are considered members of one of the friendliest and top-service Marinas on the East coast. Those boats having their own mooring in Buck’s Harbor pay a basic annual facilities fee for the use of all shoreside amenities.BuckBucks Harbor Marine can provide a limited number of seasonal rental moorings. The fee for those moorings is in addition to the basic facilities fee paid by all seasonal boats. Rates vary according to boat length and necessary size of mooring. Mooring Inspection & Maintenance Service Buck’s Harbor Marine has extensive experience in the inspection, placement and maintenance of mooring systems. We currently maintain over 100 moorings for customers in Buck’s Harbor and surrounding waters. Our workboat, GREY SEAL is equipped with a 1,000-pound lift capacity hydraulic crane. Our heavy carrier, PENOBSCOT, has an 8,000 pound lift capacity and can install or service the heaviest moorings in the area. Our inspection divers are equipped for and experienced in working all types of Maine’s waters and bottoms. We carry a full inventory of chain, shackles, buoys, and high-strength mooring pendants, and use only hot-dipped, galvanized American-made high quality chain.
