Ensign daysailers are among the most proven and popular designs ever produced. These heavily-built full keel boats are still raced extensively (Buck’s Harbor has one of the largest fleets on the East Coast)...and yet the boats are valued highly as family day sailing craft. ANTARES features an extremely large cockpit able to fit five adults as well as a small cuddy cabin for gear or a place for children to nap. The rig is easy to handle, with a roller-furling overlapping genoa for extra power. Our boat features varnished teak trim. The boat is wonderfully equipped with a VHF radio, automatic bilge pump, solar panel, and running lights as well as full safety equipment, cushions and an outboard.
