Charter Yacht Reservations

The Bucks Harbor Marine Charter Fleet offers the largest number of Power Boats available in the Penobscot Bay as well as a varied fleet of Sail Boats. Prospective charterers should make their reservation as early in the year as possible to get the widest and best selection of boats & charter dates.

Our standard charter period is one week. Additional charter days are on a pro-rated basis and a discount is offered for multi-week or seasonal charters. We also offer shorter charters (3 nights aboard). We believe that our fleet exists for our customer's convenience; and, therefore, a charter may start on any day of the week -- schedule permitting.

The first step is to go to our Main Charter Page and select either the Power or Sail fleet to review the available boats. Once on the Fleet Page, click on a particular boat image to go to that Individual Boat Page where you will find full specifications and a photo gallery. Check the Rate Page for applicable charter fees and then be sure to fill out the required Resume Form and submit that to us via the site's e-mail option.

Once your requested dates and experience background are confirmed we will send you a standard charter contract and comprehensive Charter Information Portfolio. At that time 50% of the charter fee becomes payable. The remaining 50% of the fee plus the required Security Deposit are paid no later than 30 days prior to the beginning of your charter.

Throughout the charter we process we are completely available to you with advice on a cruising itinerary, travel options and arrangements, onboard inventory and suggestions about special events in Maine. We are famous for our charter "concierge service."
